[Construction Example 17] General Hospital Roof Snow Melting (Electric Heater Type, Exposed Method)

A design that allows for module-level replacement in case of future damage! It has enhanced the system's robustness.

We would like to introduce a case study of roof snow melting (electric heater type, exposed method) installation. When constructing a new radiation therapy building on the grounds of a general hospital, we planned measures against snow eaves that were a concern for the flat roof perimeter. As a countermeasure against scattering due to strong winds, we adhered a special rubber-based adhesive to the parapet cap surface, and on the flat roof surface, we installed it in a linked manner using brackets, creating a beaded layout. Since the mat will be installed year-round on the rooftop, we adopted high weather-resistant products and designed it to allow for module-level replacement in case of future damage, enhancing the system's robustness. 【Case Overview】 ■ Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture ■ Heater mat ■ 77m² *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
